How to Catch Creation
Oregon Shakespeare Festival
Scenic Design by Jason Sherwood
Half of the show deck was 3" off the venue floor, while the other half was +12". Each "quadrant" was ringed with LED tape - troughs were either built into the platforms, or fabricated as repping pieces when seams needed to be crossed.

An automated palette traveled in and out of a vom on +12" decking. An automated masking curtain for concealing palette shifts and an automated lift at center-center brought the total axis count to three for this production.
This plate was generated to faciliate conversations with the Lighting Designer and Electrics team regarding the LED troughs repping on and off the deck perimeters.
Cables fabricated to evoke the Golden Gate Bridge, seen here in the paint shop.
Units each broke into (2) pieces for changeovers.
